So I was coming back from getting a drink at the corner store and there was a cat and I couldn’t figure out what it was doing but before I knew it I had scooped up this teeny mouse, who proceeded to climb in my hoodie sleeve and…
Well. Here we are?! D: he’s in shock so I’ve set him up in a little container and washed my hands like a thousand times and… He has no injuries. So I’m hoping he comes out of it so I can release him? He literally did not want to leave my hand.
Accidentally posted this to the nsfw blog. Oops
He shouldnt be really dirty, so youre good there as long as he doesnt bite or defecate on you, I’d say wait until he was getting active again and let him go again outside
He’s still rather cuddled up in the sock and I really don’t wanna put him outside at this point. But would it be okay to keep him in the container for the night? (It’s late here) also anyone with ideas on care and such are fully welcome.
just from experience with hamsters, I’d say that once the lights are out he’d start to get active again, but if you want to keep him over night just put some water on a saucer in with him and he should be okay
Alrighty I think we are set for rescue-mouse sleepover then! I’ve placed some bread in there and some water and I shall hope for the best.
Send good vibes to my little mouse friend!
Meet Bones Mello, the AT-AT Dog. Bones is an Italian Greyhound who lives with Katie Mello, an artist working for Portland, OR-based animation studio LAIKA/house. Katie, as you might’ve guessed, is also a huge fan of Star Wars, which is why she designed and constructed such an awesome AT-AT Walker costume for her beloved, and clearly very patient, canine friend for Halloween back in 2011.
